Apprenticeship with datalog

Once again this year, datalog Werbemittel GmbH is training future wholesale and foreign trade management assistants.
Over the course of the three-year apprenticeship, our trainees gain valuable experience in managing well-known major clients while also applying and improving their English skills through hands-on work in international purchasing. At datalog, they get to know structured workflows and receive practical, professional training in a close-knit team that values collaboration and mutual support.
There are no limits to creativity in our company — brainstorming sessions are all about letting ideas flow freely and exploring new approaches.

We’re excited to welcome our new trainee, Luzi Bethmann:
“With great motivation, I’m starting my apprenticeship as a management assistant in wholesale and foreign trade at datalog. Having just moved from Rostock, this is the perfect start to a promising professional future for me. I’m looking forward to learning the different processes and becoming an active part of the team.”

We are delighted to congratulate our trainee, Mr. Weber, on successfully passing his final examination!
With great dedication and expertise, he has successfully completed his apprenticeship in our company.
All the more, we are pleased to now welcome Mr. Weber as a permanent member of our team. We are proud of his achievements and look forward with excitement to our future together!

We have once again passed the DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 recertification audit with flying colours.

datalog Werbemittel GmbH strives to meet the highest standards in terms of quality management and this success is proof of that.
We believe that the DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 certification will help us to continue to provide our customers with the best possible service and improve our business processes.

A helpful donation of the team of datalog just before Christmas for the people in Ukraine

Knowing how well we are doing and how we will celebrate Christmas, the employees and management of datalog handed over a power generator together with the corresponding fuel to the association "Team Freiwilligeninitiative Kiel "Herz zu Herz"" shortly before Christmas.

We are very pleased to be able to make a small contribution to help here and will continue to look for ways in which we can provide further support in small ways.

Reinforcement for our distribution team: datalog Werbemittel GmbH welcomes York von Sobbe as a new member of the team

We are very happy about the reinforcement of our distribution marketing team here at datalog Werbemittel GmbH.
Our clients’ expectations and requirements, for quality promotional gifts, special custom-made promotion material, ideas for incentives for their clients and a lot more, have risen immensely. That’s why it is great to have someone on board who has an extensive knowledge of it all.

As year-long marketing manager and as an industry expert, York von Sobbe brings in 20 years of know-how in product development in the area of promotion material, presents and merchandise products which will help us fulfil all our clients’ wishes. From the idea to the market introduction to the handover, he knows all the steps of the process and combines them with a high and sympathetic bond to the distribution marketing as well as the correct, clear reliability towards the clients and his connections.

Environmental and climate protection belong to the most important challenges of our future.
We are aware of our responsibility for a sustainable development and we invest accordingly.
Our company's environmental management includes all aspects and processes. We not only use energy-efficient IT and production systems but also realise measures to save energy and resources on a daily basis.
To fulfil those measurements, we follow the general and internationally acknowledged environmental standard ISO 14001.

Change in Management

Mid 2020 and after 30 years, Stefan Schmidt appointed Tino Müller as his successor as owner and managing director.
Tino Müller has long-standing experiences in different fields, for example as Purchasing Manager at Lidl but he posses also a large network of valuable contacts. He is going to integrate his purchasing and sales experience as well as his goal to reach the highest quality standards for the development and the success of datalog.
Stefan Schmidt says the following about his successor: "Tino Müller brings the right combination of quality awareness and a new way of thinking to the company. Datalog profits from his grown experience and his negotiation skills but also from his visions, and that's what makes a good manager. Someone who takes over datalog right in the middle of a pandemic shows that they have the special gen to manage a company. I will always support him as advisor and am looking forward to working together successfully."
